The 8 sessions of the Occasional Preachers course will cover:

- Preaching or Teaching?
- Spirituality
- The Art of Preaching I
- The Art of Preaching II
At the end of the course there will be an in-person study day on Delivering Homilies. This will include the giving and receiving of constructive feedback on a prepared homily that each attendee will deliver to the group.
John’s Gospel captures the amazing truth: ‘And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us’. Jesus came and lived on earth in ‘time and place’. He stepped into ‘our world’ so that we can step into his. He invites us today to explore afresh all that he brought to those with whom he shared his life nearly 2000 years ago, so that this can inspire and inform us today.
